BoingBoing reports today that court records have come out indicating that another Chinese dissident was sent to prison with
help from Yahoo! This one was a couple of years ago but the company turned over a draft email saved in the
man's account and helped identify him. Yesterday Yahoo! reported a 29% increase in first quarter
profits over the same period last year.
To be fair: the beloved Skype said today that its partner in
China has been censoring text
messaging.
