The video above is the first episode of a new video blog,
The Nata Village Video Blog. The Nata Village Blog is a new
project by the staff of an HIV clinic in Nata, Botswana. The clinic's work days begin with a song, as you can see
above. With the assistance of some international travelers with tech skills, the blog has become quite an
impressive use of services like Typepad, Flickr, Blip.TV and PayPal.
In other Africa blogging news, a project I worked on called Enough is Enough
Zimbabwe launched today. Zimbabwe is a place just recently torn apart by despotism and political
conflict and there's a very active blogosphere there. Enough aggregates
multi-media content regarding Zimbabwe, including many of the country's blog feeds and has original content written by
one of the country's most prominent (though anonymous) bloggers. It will also point to photos and video hosted
off-site that are tagged for inclusion in the Enough listings.
