Brad Hill reports that Blogger has just released a new Blogger for Word toolbar that will allow you to automagically post to your Blogger blog from within Microsoft Word — as well as drafting, saving, and archiving entries off-site. My disclosure: I won't touch Microsoft Word with a 10 foot USB cable, so I'm not gonna try this out, and I will also note this is another Windows-only social software tool, and that this is not good.

1. Congratulations. In about 2 years since Google acquired Pyra Labs (Blogger) this is probably the biggest feature they've launched
(I think they've made about 2 other improvements users could actually
see).
How's that for a highly motivated team? If I had the manpower, the resources, and yeah, why not, the $$ incentive, those folks have, I'd be releasing a feature to publish in your blog from the moon (but not the one made out of cheese).
Is this really the best they could come up with in two years? I don't believe it. There's gotta be something else cooking behind the scenes we have not seen yet. This really can't be *it*. The fact it's a Windows only feature is almost irrelevant if you consider everything else. Sad.
