Fly around the videoblogging world

Vlog earth

This easily falls squarely into the "coolest things I've ever seen" category (admittedly it's a big category, but y'know, it's better that way) — the data from VlogMap.org is now available for Google Earth. You can get a continually-updating, near real-time map of where folks are videoblogging around the world — maybe there's someone right around the corner from you videoblogging, and you can find them. Google Earth is still Windows-only (meh), but if you haven't seen it, it's one of the rare cases in which I'd actually recommend sitting down in front of a PC ;). Here are the instructions on getting it up and running.

Also — do not miss this video from The Random Show that takes you on a fly-by tour of videoblogs around the world. It's awesome.
