Peerflix and Peerbux

peerflix

Are you actively using any peer-to-peer sharing networks right now?

How about the Beta of Peerflix? Under the 'How It Works' tab on their website it says ''Keep what you receive. You own them.'' So, once you receive a DVD it's yours until you decide to trade it again. There is a 'per trade' cost of 99¢, and you can cancel your participation at any time. When you sign up you get a 'free' DVD.

So, let's see, you enter your collection of DVDs that you would like to trade in your ''DVDs I have'' list and DVDs you'd like to see in a ''DVDs I want'' list. You get four mailers, send your DVDs into the Peerflix universe, get ''Peerbux'' assigned for each of the DVDs you place in the trading pool, get a chance to actually 'buy' DVDs from Amazon via the Peerflix system, and I'm sure lots more but… I kept getting a 'Peerflix is restarting. Please stand by.' message as I tried to work my way around this DVD sharing system to 'share' some info here with you.

So, anyone using this DVD sharing BETA?
