While I am not overly enamoured of Yahoo! 360°'s 'simple-mentation' of the blog, i am
playing with it in it's semi-crippled state along
with associating flickr photos, technorati tags, and my spring 'haitech haiku'. Simple format, not so tightly
integrated yet with things I've been using via Yahoo! for quite some time now—like Messenger, and Groups.
I don't actually use Yahoo! Messenger itself but integrate my friends who use AIM, Yahoo!, etc. via Adium—my IM aggregator of choice for the Mac. So of course i want integration
between My IM aggregator and Yahoo! 360°.
I've been receiving a number of requests to befriend some of my readers here on the
social software weblog and to invite them to Yahoo!
360. I have invited a few of my readers with whom I am more familiar, and with whom i have corresponded in the past via
comments or tips.
Something is not quite right with the 'invite' system on 360° though as the invitations don't seem to be making it to
the invitees. And, if I try to re-invite someone, 360° then notifies me that i have already invited them and gives me
an error message. Hm. As a result, I have about 14 outstanding invites in my 'outbox' that i cannot re-send, and that i
cannot seem to delete.
If anyone at Yahoo! 360° is listening, i would love some feedback on this. Thanks!

6. My guess is that these invitations are being sent to junk mail folders by spam filters

7. I remember when I first got my invite to orkut, I found it in my spam folder. So I believe Andrew is probibly correct on this one.
If anyone here has an extra invite, I sure would like to give it a try.

9. The 360 team is investigating why some invites have not been delivered and will correct the situation where possible. There was a bug causing some reviews to inappropriately bounce.
Thanks for the report!

10. You should put chatango.com IM in your blog, so that other people can message you- it does not require them to be members of the same IM network.

1. It never occurred to me that my outstanding invitations weren't reaching their destinations. I'll check into that. I've got 36 of 'em. Quite a drag if they are wasted.
