Your favorite online photo sharing service is?

Would it be Yahoo! Photos?

Or, maybe Shutterfly? If it is one of these two, well then you are in agreement with AP Internet writer Anick Jesdanun who writes—Yahoo, Shutterfly tops for online photo sharing.

Anick does not like sites that request his friends register in order to view his photos. And so he quickly eliminated Snapfish for this offense, then Webshots for replacing his desktop wallpaper, then Ofoto for disappearing photos when one does not buy something from their service in a year's time.

Typepad was ousted for charging a monthly fee and for not organizing photos easily. And Streamload, perhaps good for video and music files, seemed overkill for photos based on their monthly charge.

The remaining contenders—Flickr, Yahoo! Photos, America Online, and Shutterfly are all strong according to Anick, with Yahoo! Photos taking first place and Shutterfly coming in a close second.

What's your favorite photo sharing service? One of these?

4. I really have a hard time understanding how Yahoo, Shutterfly and AOL can be called photo sharing sites. They're photo printing sites that can be used to share photos in a pinch, although there are clearly better options available.

6. Buzznet for the simplicity and the user experience, the mobile posting and browsing, and the great community. No need to register to access, a lot can be done with the free account, etc.

7. Believe it or not, when sending photos to family I prefer to use Wal-Mart's online photo center. Since the emails come from a name they already know, it's easier to get the clueless to open those emails to go the photos. For people that I actually know and correspond with frequently, we all use Hello.

8. Photo sharing and photo processing services are two different issues and, unlike Ofoto, we think they should remain separate as the cost structures are very different. Therefore my favourite photo sharing site is Flickr. I am personally convinced that, when it comes to processing images on real photographic paper, or printing posters, calendars, mugs, jigsaw puzzles, .... our service http://www.fotoinsight.com comes top in Europe!
