I really wanted to be able to attend Pop!Tech 2004—taking place right now in
Camden, Maine.
So many of my friends and cohorts are there. Including, but not limited to:
Renee Blodgett, Buzz
Bruggeman, Stuart Henshall,
Dina Mehta, Jerry Michalski,
David Weinberger,
Teddy Zmrhal, and
Ethan Zuckerman.
But, on an audio level, I feel that I am 'almost' there as the entire conference is being audio streamed courtesy of
ITConversations. It is wonderfully enjoyable to be listening to all of these inspiring speakers
whilst working from my virtual office!
And, on a 'social' level, if—as you listen—you have a question for a speaker you can
submit it and listen for the
response.
As I sit here, blogging, working on client tasks, and intermittently IM chatting with nine of my cohorts—I am also
virtually attending Pop!Tech and clarifying what visuals are being flashed up on the big screen, from time to time.
Brilliant.

1. We miss you...we are having a great time. Absolutely fascinating. You would love every minute.
