So… Is this Social Software? If one factors in the exhibitionist aspect of these Toothing encounters, the experience does have the potential to take on a 'group' perspective. Oh, wait a sec, the Brits have already done that with Dogging. And to think, all thanks to the wireless technology — Bluetooth.
1. As someone that grew up in the UK, I am always amazed by the paradox. On the surface cool but under the surface a sex crazed society. In Canada scandals are about money. In England, it is usually about weird sex - MP hangs himself wearing women's underwear sort of thing (true)
Toothing/Dogging puts a whole new twist to Social Software - it is minus 10 here right now and we have maybe 3 feet of snow so I doubt it will be anything other than a summer sport here on PEI. All the more reason to add us to your visit list!
